Why the 'The network is not present or not started' message isn't appropriate in a specific situation?

Hi,

I tried to copy a folder in a domain environment to several PCs' C:\Program Files folder, but received the above error message in Desktop Central about Win7 machines (on XPs was all fine). I tried everything about network and firewall without success. Checked the Workstation service status as well as it was suggested by Help. It was all OK, but the copying still not working.
I thought it could be some kind of permission related issue. The domain user I used to log in was member of domain admins and local Administrators group as well on workstation (for sure), but still wrong.
And finally I changed the destination folder to C:\Program_Files and it helped.

Am I right, that the message could be more specific as well?

Thanks.

Regards,
Feri

PS: Any idea why this didn't work with the standard Program Files folder?
