When users login and submit their own request, the mode does not automatically set to "Self Service".  However, emailed requests created by the system automatically set the mode to "Email".  Is this a bug, an oversight or by design?

I haven't upgraded to 7.6 yet (still running 7514), so perhaps this has changed...?
