We are a new ADManager customer....

Importing from .CSV file I use

givenname,sn,ipPhone,telephonemunber,sAMaccountName,mail, password

It all works great.

 

But when I dump the object class "users" for all attributes I do NOT see "password" as an attribute.

I have provided the dump script (renamed to .txt) and the output as attachments.

I do see all the others .csv import header objects as a direct attibute match.

I have also viewed the user account with "attribute editor" and see that "userpassword = <not set>"

 

I so that even ldifde and csvde do not support password and I have read about people doing >"net" commands to loop and add the user's intial passwords.....etc... and other people have other techniques.

 

HOWEVER:

 

YOUR product works great and we have chosen to use ADManager Plus as a paying customer to import 100k+ users - I was hoping your experts can help me understand this extra level of detail. (Thread Title)
