When Scanning Novell Login Prompt is Displayed on Computers

Hello,
I am testing out the Desktop Central product for a patch management solution.  Some of our workstations are part of a AD domain and some are not.  All computers have a Novell client since we use Novell e-directory for user authentication and file/print server access.

When initiating a scan of a test workstation that is part of the AD domain a Novell Login prompt shows up on the workstation.  The supplied credentials we entered were for the AD domain.

Why is the Novell login prompting during a scan and is there a way to fix this, since we cannot have the prompt showing on users computers.
