[What's Cooking] Upcoming new features and enhancements
Dear Users,
We are happy to inform you all that the following features are queued for release with one of the upcoming service packs.
Multi-Level CAB Approval
- Add multiple approvals to any change stage. Apart from the CAB approval, you can add up to 10 approval
Disable Concurrent Login
- You can now disable concurrent user login from different IP addresses.
Can be configured from Admin > General settings > Security settings
Support Group for Problem Module
- Support groups can be assigned to work on problems and group-based permissions can be configured for problems.
- Reports can be generated for problems based on Group column
- The variable $group is added to notification templates for the Problem module.
Announcement Revamp
- For better classification of announcements, three new fields namely Announcement Type, Priority, and Services Involved are added.
Resource Summary in Notification Rule
- A new variable included to add a table summarizing the resources associated with a request [Approval notifications].
Can be configured from Admin > Notification Rules > Request > Notifying for Approval
Stage-specific Approval
- Added stage-specific approval notifications for service templates.
Can be configured from Admin > Notification Rules > Request > Notifying for Approval
Resource Management Enhancements
- Added support for right-to-left languages.
- Users with SDSiteAdmin role can also view the Resource Management view under the Home tab.
- Added confirmation prompt for changing owner using drag-and-drop in Resource Management view.
Request List View NEW UI
- User interface of the Request list view page is enriched with new icons and button styles.
