We recently released version 12.8 of Applications Manager. The focus in this release was to expand our NoSQL portfolio. Here is a quick look at the highlights of version 12.8:
Support for monitoring Apache HBase
Apache HBase is a distributed, NoSQL database used by many businesses to process large amounts of data in real time. With Applications Manager, you can monitor the health and performance of Apache HBase by tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the HBase Master and Region servers - including JVM metrics, memory usage, thread details, cache info, slow operations, compaction, memstore, operational latency and exceptions.
SAP HANA Monitoring
SAP HANA is an in-memory, column-oriented, relational database management system developed and marketed by SAP SE. SAP HANA was previously called "SAP High-Performance Analytic Appliance".
Use Applications Manager to monitor key performance metrics of SAP HANA such as CPU, memory and disk usage, HANA services, schema details, replication and backup, workload, transactions, jobs, caches, and alerts.
Oracle NoSQL Monitoring
Oracle NoSQL is a scalable, distributed no SQL database. With Applications Manager, you can monitor important performance counters of Oracle NoSQL including memory usage, thread details, admin details, replicated nodes, and storage details.
Monitor Apache Solr Search Server
Keep tabs on the performance of Apache Solr by tracking cores, replications, query handler, cache, update handler, JVM usage, CPU/memory usage, and thread details.
As with any release we have made some feature enhancements and fixed some bugs. You can get all the details from our
release notes.
