What does your deployment policy look like?

I am in my third round of testing and figuring out how to make use of Desktop Central for Patch Management (MS and Third Party). I'm interested in hearing what you have done as far as creating a reasonable deployment policy for your users, as I'm having trouble choosing the when and how! I'd like to just have one and communicate how it works to my users, but will of course have multiples if it cannot be avoided. I am in a 9-5 office environment and computers may or may not be turned on overnight.

Right now, I'm trying out deploying at refresh cycle only, anytime, turn on computers, prompt to reboot with a message after the install completed, and allowing users to skip rebooting for 1 day.
