Are there any convenient ways to test connections to Secure Gateway Server and UEMS (Desktop Central ) Central Server?  

What I am after is a URL approach such as a URL to https://servername.domain.name:8383/somepage.txt .  Or TELNET open servername.domain.name 8383.  Or anything else that is easy to arrange. 

I am trying to set up and debug Secure Gateway Sever, plus the firewall and NAT and access rules and so on.  Without a simple way to test, this is difficult.
