WARNING: insufficient hard disk
Hi,
Having just installed the ApplicationManage application when starting using the supplied startupApplicationManager.sh scripts I receive a warning in the startup logs:
*************
WARNING : There is insufficient hard disk space for proper functioning of Applications Manager.
*************
Examing the startup logs there is an entry saying
Disk free: 0Mb
This is simply not true as the results of the df -k report that all mounted partitions have mulitple GB's of free space. The software was installed to/var/AdvantNet/ME/ApplicationManager8 (and that was the only change to the defaults in the installation process) where excess of 50GB is free.
I've tried restarting the process but the error remains. The application does actually work as expected just I'm concerned that if Application Managers own startup script can not accurately determine free disk space then trusting it to monitor more complex configurations becomes quite difficult.
The only way I have successfully installed the application so no error is shown is to accept all defaults during the installation process and increase the /home disk partition space - a configuration that is not suitable. I would expect the application to run successfully in any installed directory.
