VMs losing network connectivity: Suggestion
One of our customer experienced this issue(in VMware environment) frequently in the past. He identified the root cause and fixed it. Here is his comment.

FYI you guys should ensure that if your customers use VMware for building your servers they are using vmxnet3 NIC’s to avoid losing network connectivity on guests.
