Virtual Tunneling (Virtual Interfaces)
Hi Guys, I need your help please.
We have a device in our Network, using the following MIB code: snmpv3mibs mibII/snmp_mib mibII/system_mib mibII/sysORTable mibII/vacm_vars mibII/vacm_conf utilities/execute mibII snmpv3mibs ucd_snmp host
This device, Creates GRE Tunnels, between our CE, and the clients Device. These are Virtual Interfaces.
The operstatus of these, are always down, because there is not a Physical Connection ?
So this means, that Opmanager always gives this Interface as Down, Is there any way, for Opmanager, to not look at the operstatus, but some different way, to monitor if a Virtual Tunnel is up or down ?
