We are running a hybrid environment with on-prem AD and Online Exchange. When we create a new user in ADManager Plus, the user is created with an incorrect primary email. When the user is created outside ADMplus the email is correct. Support has said, "It came
to our attention that when users create emails, they have different domains.
Typically, this occurs because ADManager Plus connects with Exchange, and
Exchange, having its address policy, supersedes the information shared by
ADManager Plus in the email address field before applying the policy.
We've
encountered similar cases in the past, and we are confident that once the
Exchange policy is modified, ADManager Plus will be able to transmit the
correct field as desired, as the policy would not take precedence."
Has anyone else encountered this error and knows how to resolve it?
As shown below, ADMPlus is pushing the correct email
However, when we look in AD and Exchange, it is assigning the user an alias as primary email instead.
Does anyone know what email policies may be in play here that is causing this to occur? When the user is created manually outside ADMPlus the primary email is correct.
