I tried to modify registry entries through a script and published the script as install/uninstall software, both process and registry status were successfully applied. but actually it was not. when I checked the registry I found the entries still as they are.

 

this happened when I tried to add keys to (HKEY_CURRENT_USER), but for (HKEY_USERS) it worked fine.

 

note that most of our network users login to 2 or more PCs with the same username so applying registry settings through configurations by user will not apply for all PCs.

 

any specific reason for this??
