Use Domain Name w/o Port?
Currently, I'm using Desktop Central using localhost:8020, but I'd really like to assign a local hostname (say
http://desktopcentral) and an internet domain name (say
http://desktopcentral.mydomain.com). Usually, I could do this through IIS7 by editing the bindings, but Desktop Central doesn't have a site/application listed in IIS7, so I can't do this. I've tried everything I can think of, but nothing works.
Anyone able to give me a hand? I'm using Windows Server 2008 with IIS7.
