URL Monitoring Enhancement

We are a hosting provider that has been struggling with trying to have OpManager provide accurate URL monitoring results, and have been only slightly successful.

SITUATION:
We need to verify that the HTTP Response Status Code that is returned from the server is the correct one. This is relevant when we are trying to monitor site redirects, where we don't care if the redirected site comes up, but that the redirect is actually working. OpManager does not provide the functionality to test if the actual redirect is working.

RECOMMENDATION:
Add a facility to check the status of the HTTP Response Status Code for the requested URL.

I have included a sample C# app that I have created to provide this functionality (outside of OpManager). Basically, we updated the XML file with the URL and the status code we are expecting to see. I believe that this would be a great enhancement to the OpManager product.
