URL monitor for FTP site
I'm trying to set up a URL monitor a ftp site.
If I use a browser and go to a location of ftp://domain\username:password@ftp.mysite.com
I am able to go in, but when I put the path into opmanger, it fails on the domain\username issue because it has a \ and it also fails on the @ symbol in the name.
Is there any way to get around this, or a patch made so that i can monitor a URL this way?
Currently we have a ftp site that remote users access via internet explorer, and as of late, a lot of people are putting the incorrect password into the site, which causes the account to lockout. Now this basically stops all 400 people using the ftp server until someone calls and informs me that they cant get in, which could take a couple days depending on what time of the month it is.
Any suggestions or workarounds or alternate ideas?
