URL and service monitors

Upgraded from OpManager 6 to 7 last week and it looks like all data has been carried over successfully. However, on more then one occasion OpManaer begins to falsely report that services and URL's are down when they are not.
Usually restating the OpManager service fixes these alarms quickly, but I'd appreciate some insight into how to troubleshoot the problem. Could it be a database issue? I've run repairdb.bat multiple times.
