Upgrade problems
I am starting to test the 6.0 upgrade for may company's data. Here are the steps I took on my test PC:
[list=1:e0cb4a9f4e] * Installed a 100% clean copy of build 5507
* Started SD+, logged in, shut down SD+
* Restored the most recent backup of our production data
* Started SD+, logged in, shut down SD+
* Installed SP22 hotfix to upgrade to build 6000
* Started SD+, logged in, checked a few things, and everything appeared functional
* Attempted to install SP28 to upgrade to build 6006
During the SP28 installation, it got to 98% and then failed on something, at which point it stopped and started an uninstallation process, which apparently succeeded. After it finished, I started SD+ up again, and at first glance, it appears to be running okay at build 6000.
I would like somebody to check the logs to see what went wrong during the upgrade. Can you please tell me what log files you need me retrieve, and where I can find them? Thanks.
