Need immediate assistance - I opened a ticket but can't reach support and this is a
production system
attempted an upgrade from 9120 to 9200 and the upgrade failed. This is a MSSQL environment where the db is hosted on a database server;
The servicedesk backup routine when it starts the upgrade did not complete - the folder in the backups is empty. The log file updatemgrlog0.txt seems to indicate that it was aborting the upgrade but I can no longer get the services to start.
- I have tried rebooting.
- We also rolled back the DB via a SQL restore with no success so the issue appears to be on the application server
System Event Log indicates the "ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus Service terminated with the following service-specific error: incorrect function" Event ID 7024
But I am wondering if it is possible to reinstall and then simply point back to the recovered database? Steps 4, 6 I dont like considering the only valid backup I have is in SQL
Anyone had this issue or can assist?
I tried run.bat as I have seen in another forum post here and the services failed to start. I have attached wrapper.log to my open ticket
