Upgrade from 5300 to 5310 issue

I recently upgraded from version 5300 to 5310. After the upgrade I cannot get into the managment interface. It is still doing scheduled backups of configurations as it did before but I cannot get the administration interface to work. Unfortuatenly I did not create a duplicate of the directory before I did the last upgrade (poor decision on my part) but did have one from the previous upgrade.
I rolled back to the previous version and did the upgrade path one more but still the same result.
