Updating Office Locations of Employees
We are standardizing office location names for employees in AzureAD / Entra.
I would like to know impacts of this change as tickets and assets are associated to users via "Sites".
Sites are generated via Office Location for Requesters. So If we change the names of Office locations how will our Assets and Requests react. I am mainly concerned with tickets that are already open or closed associated with current site names.
Are historical and current tickets associated with the requester to the current site name automatically make a relationship with new site name once office location field is synced in with SDP from AAD or do I need to consider any important factors before doing so.
