We are currently evaluating service desk plus and would like to know if any of the following are planned for future releases:

We would like to link tasks together into a project list, with the ability to assign each task to a different technician. Tasks may be done independently, or be dependent on a previous task in the project. We would like to be able to calculate the time estimate (hours and calendar) for each task and total it for the project, and see totals for each technician.

The project list would need to be able to have tasks added or subtracted to it as necessary. A template of project task lists would allow the project to created quickly.

We would like to assign multiple service requests to a particular task or project list and notify the requestor as the status changes, not just upon completion. And report on how many service requests are waiting on a particular task.

So as an example:
A request may come in that requires a software change. That change may require a Managment Approval Task, a Design Task, a Coding Task, a Testing Task, a Documentation Task, a Acceptance Task and a Release Task.

All of the tasks may require the Management Approval Task, but the Documentation Task could be done at the same time as the Coding task. Testing might require both Documentation and Coding to be complete. If Testing fails, a new Coding and Testing task may be required to added.

As services request come in for the same software change, they could be linked to that project task. The requestors for all linked requests would receive notification when tasks are completed.
