Upcoming enhancements in Microsoft Teams Widget For Technicians and Issue fixes in Request, SetUp, Assets, CMDB and Purchases in ServiceDesk Plus Cloud

Dear Users,
We’re pleased to share an important announcement about the upcoming enhancements in Microsoft Teams Widget For Technicians and Issue fixes in Request, SetUp, Assets, CMDB and Purchases in ServiceDesk Plus Cloud.

Below is a brief run-through of the same.

Issues Fixed:

Requests:
  1. In archived requests, bulk attachment downloads do not work.
  2. Approval reminder notifications are sent to pending approvers in completed approval levels if auto-approval is configured under Setup > General Settings > Approval Settings.
  3. In the Selected Assets pop-up accessed via View More next to Assets in the request details page, clicking View Full Details next to an asset does not redirect to the corresponding asset details page.
  4. Unable to bulk assign department-related view permissions even if the requester is associated with a department and has permissions to view their own requests.
  5. The Forward icon is not available in the first conversation of a request if the requester is assigned as the request's technician.
  6. Able to search for requests based on dissociated tags.
  7. In some cases, request task notifications are not sent if $ModuleFields is included in the notification template.
  8. An issue occurs when Japanese characters are used as search input for Category and Template in request add forms.
Setup
  1. In service templates, when resource question options are added or edited, administrators are unable to use the rich-text editor in full screen.
Assets
  1. Pending acknowledgment is not cancelled if the user or department is removed from the asset via Field Update in the corresponding workflow transition.
CMDB 
  1. On the right pane of the CI details page, the Staleness data quality metrics is misaligned.
  2. In CMDB business views, the Save button is misaligned.
Purchases
  1. In purchase order details, item names are distorted.
General
  1. In non-English language setups, the tooltips for Maximize and Minimize icons in dashboard widgets are double-encoded
Microsoft Teams Widget For Technicians: 
  1. A dedicated Microsoft Teams widget is now available on request details pages.
  2. Using this widget, technicians can initiate calls, create group chats, and schedule meetings in Microsoft Teams from within ServiceDesk Plus Cloud. Additionally, group chats can be recorded as request conversations.

  1. The widget is available only if the Microsoft Teams integration is enabled under Setup > Apps & Add-ons > Integrations > Third Party Integrations. Note that the widget is not available for requesters. 
Note : All upgrades and feature releases, will be in-service and there won't be any downtime or service interruption.
