Unable to start PMP agent

I am trying to start the PMP agent on one of my domain controllers; however, I am encountering Error 1067: The process terminated unexpectedly. I have been successful on other servers, but just not this one. I checked the logs, and below is the response.

IsValidCert() :The commonName is (NCDS-PMP) and the hostName is (NCDS-PMP)

IsValidCert() : Certification verification failed

PMP Logs : Agent started

I can browse to the PMP server / web portal from the DC server, and I even tried installing the certificate, but encounter the same result.
