Unable to remove many monitors
We are evaluating OpManager for network device management. As an example of one of the issues we are experiencing with OpManager, we have a Cisco Catalyst 4506. I selected to Add Monitors for CRC Errors, Bits In and Bits Out. This created over 600 monitors on the device, 3 for each port.
There appears to be no way to remove the bulk of these. If I go what appears as the easy route and select Add Monitor, and simpy UNcheck the monitors in question, they are not removed.
If I go to the SnapShot page and then to the Monitors Tab, and select all (by checking the box next to the Monitors column heading) then UNcheck the handful I want to keep, then click Remove, only about 30 monitors are moved.
This is a cumbersome and infeasible way to manage monitors. How can I remove the 500+ monitors that remain without spending an hour waiting for pages to refresh, checking and unchecking boxes, etc?
