We’re using a free version of ServiceDesk Plus with five technicians, we’ve recently hired a sixth technician and simultaniously I’ve resigned.
So as I have just a few weeks left working here, I used one of my colleagues accounts to change my SDP account to requester, freeing up one of the technician licenses.
Now when I try to raise my boss’s account from requester to technician the license says that everything is fine and i can save the change but she still sees everything as just a requester.
We tried logging her out through the web interface and then logon again but still just a requester.
I’ve queried the database in AaaLogin and there is just one record with her username but it has a fairly high id number, almost as it’s a new account.
How/where can I find the user_id used with her old tickets so I can check if that id still exists in the datbase?
And can I somehow tie that back into her previous workorders?
Also: Is there any way to change this license so it’s for five technicians like now, and one “Administrator” who can create tickets but is not counted as a technician, she would not have any tickets assigned to her and only be using the system to manage everyone else?
