So i am unable to start my database or log in via a web application. all the firewall settings are correct and the system stopped working while i was on it on one day (remote web application) and the very next day it stopped working on the host computer.

Unable to connect to any hosts due to exception: java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect
I am trying to fix it rather than a reinstall due to not wanting to lose data missed between backups.
