We are currently running MGE Desktop Central Build 70011 in our production environment. We are now testing Build 70203 in our development environment and are running into an issue installing the agent from SOM on this build.
We are installing the agent on PCs that had the agent successfully installed from build 70011 (the agent was uninstalled successfully from this environment as well).
When we attempt to install the agent from the 70203 build, the error message "Unable to get the agent status. Operation timed out." appears.
In comparing the size of the two agents, the one from 70011 is 4218KB and the one from the 70203 build is 6553KB. Could the size difference be the issue, especially for computers located in more remote locations? How would we get around this?
The computers that the agent is being installed on do not have a firewall or any other blocking software installed.
