Unable to fecth mail

Good Day Support

Our service desk application keep stopping fetching mails after 2 to 3 days. In order to have the application running again , we have to reset the password again and then it will work again for the next 2 to 3 Days:

On our exchange server 2013  POP is configured with Basic Authentication.

What could be the problem here? I need further assistance how to resolve this.

This is very frustrating us as we are not able to work.
