So I create a template for a particular office. Within each office there are a set number of job positions, about 6. So each template represents an office and the rules assign to the user the specific security groups based on their job function. Examples

Template A

Rule 1: Job 1

Assign groups for A1

Rule 2: Job 2

Assign groups for A2

Rule etc

Template B

Rule 1: Job 1

Assign groups for B1

Rule 2: Job 2

Assign groups for B2

Rule etc

I need to create 63 of these templates. Each rule applies about 6 groups per job function. The problems I'm having are:

1) Half the groups I assign are the same regardless of job function. I CANNOT assign general groups and then add specific groups based on job role. Each rule that assigned groups through the "Memberof " rule overrides all previous group assignments.

2) Once a rule is created the conditions of the rule can be edited, but the values I assign a particular field cannot be edited, only deleted and recreated. This means if I forget to add a group to a job function, I have to delete all the groups for that job function and start again.

As such my questions are as follows:

1) I know I can bulk modify User Templates, but can I Bulk Create them?

2) Is there any way to edit the values I assign a field in a rule?

3) Is it possible to nest rules?

4) Is it possible for rules to apply accumulatively and not overwrite previous values?

Any help or shortcuts would be greatly appreciated.
