Got an unusual problem, Trying to add community strings to a Cisco 6506 IOS based switch in Opmanger, and keep getting an error saying that the snmp strings failed (these are common to a whole bunch of switches), no errors for failed snmp on the actual switch logs.

 

So on another server I installed the "free" version of Opmanager and using cut and paste added the community strings no trouble at all !!.

 

So what is wrong with our fully registered version then ?
