unable to add device in Op6

),
atm I try to add a device to OpManager6. Normaly no big thing, but here its somekind strange:
1) Searching for the IP adress of the device returns: "Sorry your search returned no results.Click here to add a device."
2) So I click "here" and am forwarded to "Admin > Add Device". I enter the IP-adress and the community string and click on "Add Device"
3) Now I get an error message "Device already present in the System"
And now I am back to the 1st point.
How do I get this device "into my OpManager"?
