Unable to add attrbitues to JMX Dashboard from Websphere 6

Hi,

I am evaluating Applications Manager 7, I have successfully added various monitors, ranging from HP-UX server to Oracle Databases and some WebLogic Server instances. I am currently interested on set up a dashboard in order to monitor a JMX enabled Java application running on IBM WebSphere 6.0.1. I have successfully created the monitor for the application server (ie enable the PMI, deploy the perfServlet, etc), but I can not add attributes to a JMX Dashboard from the monitor associated to WebSphere. I have copied many jars from $WAS_HOME to lib/was directory under applications manager installation directory, the first problem is that not all the jars required from AM are present in WebSphere 6.0 installation, jmxc.jar for example (the complete list are about ten jar files). This jar files are present in version WebSphere 5 so, I naively copy the missing files from WebSphere 5 installation to lib/was directory jut to see if it works.

Now, AM does not prompt for any jar, but I got a java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/ibm/jsse/IBMJSSEProvider.

My questions are:

It is supported to add attributes to a JMX Dashboard from a monitor pointing to a WebSphere 6.0 instance? If so, what do I need to do?
It is required to setup the JSSE provider in the JRE embedded in AM? If so, how can I do that? What jars do I need to include from the $WAS_HOME?
Is there is a way to add JMX attributes from the JVM running WebSphere? I mean, should I use the JMX implementation embedded on the JVM 1.5?

I will appreciate all the support you can give me with this issue

Thanks in advance
AC
