I am experimenting with the OpManager Free Edition Build 8721. I was trying to add a WMI-based custom monitor as per User Guide pg. 64 and I am getting the error:

 

       Failed to get performance counters from the selected WMI class.

 

for every machine and every WMI class I tried. I've checked and re-checked the credentials. I can access WMI on those machines with a third-party WMI browser, with the same credentials.

 

Is this a limitation of the free edition?
