Troubles testing email notification

Hello all,

I'm having difficulties with an email notification..

I've recently made a little adjustment within that email notification, but.. I'm at a loss where on Earth I can find a way to test the new settings.. :(

Since it's a pretty specific one with a clear status of notification (send to an emailadress that's actually forwarded as SMS to a GSM) it's pretty usefull if I could find the place to test it...

The subject is configured to show the following:

$message $displayName $stringseverity

which (hopefully) should result in something like:

Input Voltage UPS <= 220 V; Device: UPS MER 1, Severity: Trouble

The entire line above would then display in the SMS received, providing us with all necessary information we want to know..

Can anyone help me and tell me where to test it?
