tool for remote assistance outside the network?
Hi,
Wonder if Desktop Central can be used to offer our customers assistance by taking over their desktop. In other words, when their PC is not in the same domain. We have customers across the country, and often need to help them with configuring e-mail clients, controlpanels, etc...
Another question is if this works without altering anything to the firewall the customer has. Almost everytime we come across a case where we need to install remote access software, we need to tamper with firewalls.... We are looking for a web based solution working on port 80, and prefer not to install any software on the customers PC.
