What is W3C?
W3C, which stands for World Wide Web Consortium, is an international community created in 1994 by the major players on the internet that develops web standards and promotes interoperability between web technologies, such as browsers, programming languages, and devices.
The mission of W3C is to articulate web standards so that websites look and work the same in all web browsers and lead the World Wide Web to its full potential by developing standards, protocols and guidelines that ensure its long-term growth.
