What is Pagination?
Pagination is a web design technique that is used to divide a large data set into several pages. The main purpose is to optimize the website's loading time and provide a better user experience.
Imagine an eCommerce site like Amazon or eBay listing all their products on a single page. This will certainly confuse users, get overwhelmed and leave the site. Pagination provides navigation controls such as the previous, next, first, and last page, etc. or even particular page numbers. Information like the total number of pages, the current page, the highlighted history of previously visited pages, etc. contributes to the user's awareness.
