What is Cluster in Computing?

Cluster computing or High-Performance computing frameworks is a form of computing in which a bunch of computers that are linked through a LAN so that, they behave like a single entity.

This technology that links multiple servers together to work as one logical unit is used for high-performance and mission-critical applications like simulation and analysis. A computer cluster helps to solve complex operations more efficiently with much faster processing speed, better data integrity than a single computer.

Some of the critical Applications of Cluster Computers are Google Search Engine, Petroleum Reservoir Simulation, Earthquake Simulation, Weather Forecasting, Lifesciences, Data mining, Aerodynamics, Automobile crash simulations and so on.
