Definition — What is Cluster in Computing?

Cluster computing or High-Performance computing frameworks is a form of computing in which a bunch of computers that are linked through a LAN so that, they behave like a single entity.

This technology that links multiple servers together to work as one logical unit is used for high-performance and mission-critical applications like simulation and analysis. A computer cluster helps to solve complex operations more efficiently with much faster processing speed, better data integrity than a single computer.
