Good evening all,
I'm trying to find a way to essentially create a temporary task or a reminder task.
As an example, if we have someone who is unable to perform their regular duties due to injury/other reasons we move them to a different department to help out. When they move to the new department, their permissions get changed on various software to allow them to perform the new role.
The issue that often happens is these permissions don't get removed when they return to their regular duties. Either due to IT never being notified, or not remembering those permissions were changed.
So what I would like to setup is someway to complete the original ticket for permission changes. Then have a task/reminder/something else set that will automatically re-open that ticket or create a new ticket to remove the permission changes. Ideally this would be setup to trigger after X days, this way the mangers can either re-certify the move, or permissions get revoked.
Ideally I want to avoid the OnHold partly because things seem to go to their to be forgotten. Mainly though i want to be able to track the changes coming in, and where we went in and removed them. So when we get audited down the road i'm not jumping through hoops to justify things.
Thanks in advance for any ideas.
