Template variable for the technician writing the reply (not the technician the ticket is assigned to).

When setting up the various templates available in Notification Rules, the $technician variable inserts the name of the technician who the ticket has been assigned to. We're a small team, so on fairly regular occasions we'll end up sending a reply to tickets currently assigned to another member of the team, so using the $technician variable in the template ends up with their name in the reply instead of ours. Is there any way of inserting the name of the technician writing the reply instead of the assigned technician?

I realise that I can delete their name and put mine in instead before sending the reply, which is what we do now, but it would be nice if it wasn't necessary - and we sometimes forget and accidentally send the reply signed with the wrong name, which can create confusion.
