The obvious scenario in our business is creating and supporting a new staff member.
They need equipment, security access, domain access, application access, training etc.
Most staff have unique needs, but most of their requirements are generic. In our environment the responsibilities for each of the tasks to get a staff member going are not achievable by a single technician. So the project modules functionality enabling responsibilities to be assumed by different technicians is a perfect way of handling the divergent needs.
However, the creation of this process is time consuming, all to repeat the same basic structure. Being able to template service offerings like this (subsequently tailored), would be much appreciated.
