Technician username not updating

Technician username not updating

Hi,
We have an issue with a technician who has changed their last name in AD. It has not updated in service desk.
I tried to manually update the user but it kept finishing with failed to update.

*Edit - Just to add, we are having issue with the AD username that has changed in AD that is not reflecting in service desk. So they are unable to login
