Technician -> Requester SDP 7.6

Technician -> Requester SDP 7.6

Hello,
 
Is it possible to "demote" a Technician back to a Requester? If so, how do I do it? I'd like to retain the user's record of ticket management, but remove his rights to work tickets and to free up a Technician license.
