When I try to create monitor for Weblogic 8.1 I get status 'failed' with reason 'Service is not Running'.
But server is running....
weblogic 8.1SP4
Applications Manager 6 build 6056 without SP
License Type : Evaluation
Weblogic listens 127.0.0.1:7001
