I have downloaded the trial version of the Manage Engine Software. I am hoping to be able to configure it to work with our existing application. If this is possible we would like to purchase a license.

My main problem: is that I need to change the database being used over to Oracle, as this is what we are using for the rest of the application. The reason this is needed is to allow our application to view the data being collected by your application. For some reason, every time I try to edit the database_params.conf file connection strings, your application changes it back on restart. There also does not appear to be a line in the startup batch file for starting up mySQL, for me to comment out.

My second question is probably easier. Is there a way to monitor snmp traps from Cisco hardware, built into your application. I wish to monitor a Cisco 3800 Router and a Cisco PIX 525, if that helps.
