Tech Support - Process Monitoring

Hello,

We are running Applications Manager 7, build 7200, service pack 2.0.

We are experiencing a problem with process monitoring of Solaris (10) servers via SNMP whereby in the cases that we are using a threshold for a specific number of process instances, the following occurs:
- threshold is set so that a) CLEAR = specific number of instances (ex. = 3), WARNING = greater than specific number of instances (ex. > 9), CRITICAL = less than specific number of instances (ex. < 3)
- actual number of running instances increases (ex. was 3, now 4), which should result in zero change in alert status
- AppMgr goes into CRITICAL alert status with alert message reading "Number of Instances 0 < 3 (threshold)"
- inside the actual monitor for the server, in the Process Details section, for the process in question, No Of Instances reads "4", which is correct.
