I'm beating my head against the wall on this issue. I previously had a script that would update a Task based on fields in the attached request. But that broke after a while and now there seems to be some additional functions that have been added and I'd like to get this working again.
My goal is still for Tasks to be updated with data from additional fields found within their attached Incident, Service Request, or Project.
I tried following the the below link and using the associated items on it. But I keep getting errors when trying to set up the Custom Triggers. And at this point I also don't know what the best practice would be. Since it's for Task that will be on either Incidents, Service Request, or Projects I was going for a global custom trigger. But when I try to set it up it tells me to check the Executor for extra spaces. There are none.
When trying to set it up as a Task Custom Trigger it tells me the .txt file isn't located or something. I need some hand holding on this one as it seems some instruction has been updated to set these up, but not all of it.
