I've looked through the forums and can't find an answer to this, it looks like it's been asked several times years ago, but I've not found an answer.
On Requests is it possible to trigger tasks in order? On changes it works because of the workflows, but on Requests it doesn't. Some requests need to follow a workflow depending on what's required.
For example a new starter requires several actions to be completed to setup the account
1) Create AD account
2) Create App specific account (which you need the email for, so cannot be completed until Task 1 is complete)
3) Create IP phone (again can't be done until task 1 is complete)
I know I can create a dependency on the tasks, but that only prevents the tasks being closed. I want the tasks triggered in succession, so tasks 2 & 3 trigger only when task 1 is closed.
How do I do this? Rather than all of the tasks create at once flooding the queue for Technicians.
