When will ME stop locking done some fields to be used in FAFR, Business Rule, API, Custom triggers.

I have been talking to ME many times over this. Why this restrictions?

The latest problem is with custom trigger, you can only choose a limited set of field to be used when define a condition.

We have a new addtional field for Change with pre-set dates for service windows.

From that I want to set start and end date based on the choice from this addtional field.

But can i choose that field in the condtion of custom trigger, of course not!

The idea is to use custom function to set start and stop date but i need to trigger the deluge script somehow.

This has been an ongoing disscusion with ME since 2015. STOP RESTRICT THE USE OF FIELDS WHEN YOU NEED TO BUILD A CONDITION TO TRIGGER SOMETHING!
